In the packet, you will find approximately 1/2 teaspoon of our premium Mediterranean yogurt starter culture. This ideal quantity ensures that you have enough to initiate the yogurt process twice, allowing for a second attempt if necessary (wink-wink).
Mediterranean yogurt is a type of thermophilic ferment. This culture contains certain bacteria that grow best at a consistent temperature, which can be achieved using a yogurt maker or similar device.
UPDATED: CHILD APPROVED! Child Tester tried this one again and she told us that she doesnt know what she disliked about it last time. She said its got some good tart in there, that initially is almost more than she wants but that it gets sweeter as you eat. Were not really sure if she just didnt stir her honey in well or if it really got sweeter with each bite (hasnt happened to us before!), but either way, she waved those TWO THUMBS UP!! in the air before telling me she needs to get logged into class before shes late.
CHILD DISAPPROVED! Were not even sure what happened here. We gave Child Tester some in a smoothie, she took a sip, got a look of horror on her face, and refused to touch it again beyond pushing the cup away from her. We pressed, trying to find out what the problem was, but other than too sweet, she didnt even want to talk about it. We asked if we should make another batch, and she vigorously shook her head while raising TWO THUMBS DOWN!! high over her head! We suppose you ought not get this for your kid unless they really like sweet yogurts.
CAT APPROVED! Linus the Cat sniffed this suspiciously, because its not the same one hed been getting. He apparently DOES like sweet yogurt, because he lapped this up way faster than a cats tongue should be able to move. TWO PAWS UP!! for this enthusiastically enjoyed yogurt! Guess we know which of these twoll be finishing the test batch, dont we?
